Dual 8" Large Truck System

Give your pickup's audio build a dedicated bass foundation with the TrueBass Solutions Dual 8" Large Truck System. This enclosure pairs two TBS 842 DV woofers with a tapered profile measuring 8" deep at the bottom and 4" at the top, giving you clear measurements to plan your installation.

Whether you are putting together your first truck system or reworking an existing setup, start with fit and amplifier matching. The rear binding posts provide access for wiring, with the configuration options listed below to help you plan the rest of your system.

Woofers:

• Two TBS 842 DV 8" woofers

Voice-Coil Inside Diameter:

• 2 inches per woofer.

Driver Fs:

• Free-air resonance frequency (Fs): 42 Hz per TBS 842DV driver. This is a driver parameter, separate from enclosure resonance or tuning.

Woofer & Magnet Weight:

• Total woofer weight: 8 lbs per woofer, including its magnet.
• Magnet weight: 80 oz per woofer (1 × 80 oz magnet per woofer). Both woofers and their magnets are included in the total finished product weight below, not added on top.

Box Impedance:

• 2 / 2 ohms.

Power Handling (RMS / Peak):

• 500 watts RMS / 1,000 watts peak for the complete two-woofer system, not per woofer.

Total Finished Product Weight:

• 68 lbs, including the enclosure, woofers, magnets, and hardware.

• Listed wiring configurations range from 2 ohms mono to two channels at 2 ohms each.
• Match the final wiring configuration to your amplifier's supported load.

Decibel Output:

• The existing product specification notes the potential to exceed 146 dB in many pickup trucks. Actual output depends on the vehicle, amplification, installation and testing conditions; this is not a guaranteed result.
